Achimenes cettoana is a compact plant with smallish flowers and relatively long and narrow leaves. Its distribution seems to be limited to Chiapas state in Mexico.

A. cettoana is a fine subject for a windowsill or under artificial light. Photographing its blue/purple flowers is difficult, and different cameras may render the color differently.
