Conandron is a genus of alpine plants, suited for the rock garden in a relatively temperate climate. With a good snow cover or deep mulch, it will survive the winter and several degrees of frost (or more). Photos of white and purple variants of this species are on this site, as is a photo of the species growing in its natural habitat.
