Conandron is a genus of Japanese alpine gesneriads, which make good rock garden plants. They tolerate several degrees of frost, if there is good snow cover or other mulching, but will not survive wet conditions during the winter. Photos of a plant growing in its natural habitat, as well as white and pink forms of the flowers, are also available on this site.
