This species was growing on sheltered stalactites at the entrance to Clearwater cave in Malaysia. They get little direct rain or other moisture.

While the plants look diminutive, the photo is from some distance — the leaves can be up to a meter long!

Note the similarity to certain unifoliate Streptocarpus species. Another photo of a similar unidentified Monophyllaea  species can be seen here.
