This nicely scented cross, between Sinningia guttata and an unnamed white/purple miniature hybrid, was originally made by Dale Martens. Dale shared seeds with David Harris, and he grew out this clone, which was judged to be the most strongly scented of the seedlings.

S. guttata is one of a few Sinningia species with a distinctive scent.

Note that the hybrid name is sometimes incorrectly spelled as “Sentimental Journey”, missing the point of the scent.
