In addition to the single and double peloric (symmetrical) forms, the “Florist Gloxinia” hybrids are also available in a nodding form, which is closer to the form of the original species. This cultivar, produced by Buell’s Greenhouses, won “Best New Hybrid” at the 1973 AGGS Convention Flower Show.
