S. magungensis is being used here as a ground cover, in a relatively dark location within the Princess of Wales Conservatory, at Kew Gardens. Although the plants are without flowers, they produce a nice bright-green, almost mossy, effect in this humid spot. The species in flower can be seen here, and another example of gesneriads in a Kew bed here.
