Bob Stewart wrote: “This is an odd Paradrymonia, because the flowers are up on the end of a long peduncle (flower stalk) instead of hidden down at the leaf bases”. His eye was right — further botanical investigation led to it being reclassified as a Trichodrymonia.  He went on to note “It seems to be fussy, I have been trying for years to get it well established, but it keeps dying back”.
